EU Warehouse & Shipping
Q
Is shipping insurance included for battery orders?
A
We work with freight forwarders we have cooperated with for many years and provide insurance for the carriage of goods.
If you have a preferred logistics provider or other special requirements, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Q
Can the EU warehouse ship to countries outside its direct delivery range, like Switzerland?
A
Yes. For addresses the EU warehouse cannot ship to directly, we can send the goods to our forwarding partner in Germany, who arranges onward transport to Switzerland or other nearby countries.
Please contact our support team and we will recommend the forwarding address and the best solution for your order.
Q
How are LiFePO4 cells packaged for shipping?
A
Cells are packed in cartons with anti-static protection, four-corner protection and shock-proof materials.
Standard packages ship without wooden pallets; if you need pallets or wooden boxes we can add them, but the corresponding freight will increase.
Q
What is the difference between truck and railway delivery?
A
Truck delivery is palletized and arrives in one go: for example, 160 cells are shipped on two pallets.
Railway transport is cheaper, but the goods are delivered in several separate batches, so it suits customers who are not in a hurry to receive their solar battery order.
Q
Can I track my battery order after payment?
A
Yes. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships, which you can use to follow the shipment on the carrier's website.
If you have not received your tracking number, please contact our support team.
Q
Do I pay extra customs fees or taxes when ordering from the EU warehouse?
A
No. All prices are final door-to-door prices under DDP terms - the price shown on your invoice page is what you pay, with no extra cost and no additional taxes.
This applies to every solar battery storage order shipped from our EU warehouse to your address.
Q
How long does delivery of solar battery cells and packs take?
A
Orders are normally shipped within 7-15 working days after payment.
For a 48V lithium battery or a complete home battery backup system, delivery from our EU warehouse takes only a few extra days - no long sea freight wait.

Product Specifications & Compatibility
Q
What is the self-discharge rate of LiFePO4 batteries?
A
LiFePO4 batteries have a relatively low self-discharge rate, which helps maintain stored energy over extended periods.
Even so, avoid leaving a battery at very low state of charge for a long time - deep self-discharge to 10V or below can permanently damage the cells.
Q
Why choose a LiFePO4 battery for solar energy storage?
A
LiFePO4 chemistry offers high thermal and chemical stability, a lower risk of thermal runaway, longer cycle life and lower cost than many other lithium-ion chemistries.
A single LiFePO4 cell has a nominal voltage of about 3.2V (versus 3.6-3.7V for other lithium-ion cells), and LiFePO4 batteries are widely used in solar energy storage, electric vehicles, power tools and electric bikes.
Q
Do you provide an MSDS for the lithium batteries?
A
Yes, we can provide MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) documents for our cells.
Contact our support team and we will send the MSDS together with any test reports you need.
Q
What is the maximum charge current of the battery?
A
The exact maximum charging current is stated in each product's specification sheet - for example, 20P/10P configurations correspond to 200A/100A discharge current.
Exceeding the specified charge current may affect battery life, so always follow the specification for your solar battery.
Q
Do JK BMS models support a display screen and WiFi?
A
JK displays are compatible with all JK BMS models, and no DC-DC converter is needed - JK has already handled this in the display wiring harness.
JK BMS itself has no WiFi; our PC-series BMS with 2A active balancing is available with WiFi, and a separate 4A active balancer can be added to either system.
Q
What torque should I use for the cell terminal screws and busbars?
A
Our cells use high-strength M6 studs (6 mm diameter) with a torque of 8 N.m.
Tighten the screws with additional wrist force, and note that the compression plate specification requires 300 kg of force.
Q
Are the necessary cables and accessories included with the battery packs?
A
Yes. The price of a pack includes all the cables needed for installation, and we provide a cable to connect the inverter with the battery.
For DIY cell orders, welded studs, flexible busbars and bolts are included, and buying cells also gets you a free flexible connecting piece.
Q
My inverter has no BMS communication port - can I still use the battery?
A
Yes. Without a communication port you can set up the inverter manually: max charge voltage 55.2V, max charge current 150A, max discharge current 200A.
In lithium mode the battery communicates via CAN or RS485; in lead-acid mode no communication is needed - just set the parameters above.
Q
Which inverters are compatible with these lithium batteries?
A
Our batteries work with most mainstream inverters, including Victron, Deye and Goodwe (for example the Goodwe GW5048D-ES).
They cannot connect to Huawei or Sungrow inverters. If in doubt, send us your inverter model and we will confirm compatibility.
Q
Can 15 kWh and 16 kWh battery packs be connected in parallel?
A
No. Battery packs with different capacities must not be connected in parallel.
The same applies to cells of different capacities or versions - for example, EVE 280Ah V1 must not be combined with EVE 280Ah V3 or EVE 314 cells.
Q
Can I mix different types or brands of LiFePO4 cells in one battery?
A
No. Different cell types have different properties and characteristics, and mixing them affects the service life of the cells and the operation of the equipment, and may even create potential safety hazards.
Always build a battery pack from cells of the same model, batch and grade.
Q
What is the difference between HSEV and LSEV cells for solar storage?
A
HSEV cells come with full factory test data readable from the QR code - including production date, capacity, voltage and internal resistance - and cost around 20% more than LSEV.
LSEV cells are professionally retested and matched before shipment and work fine for home energy storage, though they are not recommended for high-performance electric vehicles.
Q
What do the battery grade levels HSEV, LSEV and ESS mean?
A
Level 1 (HSEV): EV-grade cells tested under the official test protocol, with intact QR code, real capacity, internal resistance and voltage - the highest quality level, used mostly in automotive industries.
Level 2 (LSEV): brand-new cells that did not pass the manufacturer's strict EV-grade test, retested and matched in capacity, voltage and internal resistance - they work fine for home energy storage.
Level 3 (ESS): brand-new cells matched in voltage and internal resistance only, with lower capacity consistency than LSEV.
Q
How much capacity do the batteries lose each year?
A
Capacity degradation of our LiFePO4 batteries is approximately 2-4% per year under normal use.
Following the recommended charge voltage and avoiding long periods at very low state of charge keeps degradation at the lower end of this range.
Q
How many cycles does the EVE 280Ah cell deliver?
A
EVE 280Ah LiFePO4 cells have been rigorously tested and deliver a cycle life of up to 8,000 cycles.
As with any lithium battery, the actual service life also depends on temperature, charge voltage and depth of discharge in your solar battery system.
Q
Can LiFePO4 battery cells really reach 6,000 cycles?
A
The official cycle life rating for the cell is 3,000 cycles at 0.5C/0.5C, yet the manufacturer provides a 6,000-cycle figure for the pack.
The reason is that real-world use is never at 100% depth of discharge and not always at 1C charge and discharge, so the actual service life of your solar battery is typically longer than the laboratory rating.
Q
How many cycles do the battery rack and powerwall models deliver?
A
Our rack and powerwall batteries use 102Ah LiFePO4 cells rather than the 105Ah version, and the depth of discharge (DoD) is not limited by default.
With the communication box, the DoD can be set freely by the customer. At 100% DoD the packs deliver 3,000-3,500 cycles, with a maximum of 4,000 cycles.
Q
What Should You Do For LiFePo4 Cell Matching?
A
LiFePo4 grade B cells are made from the same raw material as LiFePo4 grade A cells, with strict quality control procedures. Grade B cells have not been used yet, and some may have defects.

Home Energy Storage & Off-Grid Applications
Q
Can I stack the batteries on top of each other instead of using a rack?
A
We do not recommend stacking batteries directly on top of each other because of their heavy weight - use a rack to hold them instead.
Please note we do not sell racks ourselves, so the rack would need to be sourced locally.
Q
Can these home energy storage batteries be installed on a boat?
A
Yes, but only to power household appliances on board - they cannot be used as the boat's propulsion system.
The cell type and BMS in our storage batteries differ from those required for traction and power applications such as small vehicles.
Warranty, Technical Support & Returns
Q
What should I do if a BMS firmware update stops halfway?
A
An interrupted firmware update can cause abnormal voltage, current and SOC readings.
Simply run the firmware update again and make sure it completes fully without interruption - the readings will return to normal.
Q
Why do paralleled batteries show very different SOC values?
A
Large SOC differences between parallel battery packs usually mean the packs have not been fully charged for too long.
Charge all the batteries to 100% promptly and keep doing this regularly - especially in winter when there is little PV charging, configure the inverter to charge the batteries from AC when solar power is insufficient.
Q
Why does my battery only charge to 99% and never reach 100% SOC?
A
This is a parameter setting issue: the SOC-100% voltage threshold is set too high relative to the actual cell voltage.
Adjust the SOC-100% voltage to 3.41V per cell in the BMS software, then run a full charge - the battery will reach 100%.
Q
Why is my battery not charging from the inverter or the grid?
A
First check the inverter settings: make sure the lithium battery mode is selected for the battery port, and set the start-of-charge SOC where you want it (the default can be as high as 30% and can be lowered to 15% in the inverter settings).
In winter, charging from the grid may be blocked by low-temperature protection - if the ambient temperature is below the protection value (default 5 degrees C), adjust the low-temperature protection setting in the BMS.
Q
Why is the SOC displayed on my inverter stuck or inaccurate?
A
SOC errors usually appear when the battery has not been fully charged for a long time, causing voltage and SOC to drift apart - charge the battery to 100% at least once a month.
If the SOC stays stuck at a partial value while the voltage is already near full, update the BMS firmware; in the BMS software, the SOC-100% voltage must be set 0.04V below the cell RCV voltage.
Q
Why does my battery show DCL 0 on Victron and refuse to discharge?
A
When a battery is not fully charged for several consecutive days, the BMS enters protection mode and sets the discharge current limit (DCL) to 0.
Set the minimum SOC alarm to 5% in the BMS software and charge the battery to 100% regularly - the protection is released after a full charge.
